How to Plant
- Prepare the seedbed by loosening the top 2 to 3 inches of soil and removing rocks and debris
- Spread seed evenly, then lightly rake or roll it into the upper 1/4 inch of soil
- Keep the soil surface moist until the new lawn is fully germinated, typically 3 to 4 weeks
- Wait until grass reaches about 3 inches before the first mowing, and remove no more than one-third of the blade
