How to Use & Refill

Add to the softener’s brine tank according to the equipment manufacturer’s instructions.
Check the salt level regularly. Morton recommends keeping the tank at least half full.
As a general guide, Morton suggests about two bags every two months; actual use depends on water hardness and household water demand.
Use your softener’s manual for its settings, refill procedure and maintenance schedule.

Handling & Storage

Keep the bag closed between uses and store in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Minimize dust while pouring; avoid breathing it and avoid extended contact with eyes or skin. Wash hands after handling.
Keep separate from strong acids, strong bases and strong oxidizers.
