These 6-7 inch carrots are shorter and stockier than many varieties, making them ideal for heavy or clay soils where longer types struggle. Deep orange flesh is sweet, tender, and rich in flavor. Excellent fresh, cooked, juiced, or stored. Sow in early spring as soon as soil can be worked, or in late summer for fall harvest. Keep soil moist for germination. Thin seedlings to 2-3 inches apart.
