Compact, productive plants. The pods themselves are not generally eaten. Small, flat, green when fresh, white when dry. 

Culture: Any good well drained soil with a pH above 6 will grow beans. Beans do not tolerate cool wet soil. After last frost date when soil is approximately 50℉, sow seeds 2" (5 cm) apart, 1" (2.5 cm) deep in rows 30" (75 cm) apart. Thinning is not necessary. For continuous supply, plant every three weeks until July 15th.

Harvesting: Maturity 65-75 days. Dry, can, or freeze as well as fresh cooked.

Nutrition: Good source of protein, dietary fiber, vitamins A and C.
