Graymont Dolomitic Hydrated Agricultural Lime 50 lb is fast-acting hydrated lime that raises soil pH significantly faster than standard granular or pelletized lime. Hydrated lime reacts with soil within days, not weeks. The dolomitic formula provides both calcium AND magnesium — standard calcitic lime only provides calcium. The 50 lb bag is for large-area agricultural applications. Use carefully: hydrated lime is more potent and can over-correct pH if over-applied. A soil test determines the right amount.
