Spread over freshly seeded areas to retain moisture, protect seed from birds, and prevent washout. The tackifier bonding agent holds the straw in place even on slopes and in wind. Easier to spread evenly than hay bales — just shake it out of the bag. Accelerates germination by holding moisture at the soil surface. Available in Galion, OH.
