Espoma Organic Charcoal (4 qt) is horticultural charcoal for terrariums, orchid mixes, and container gardens where you need improved drainage and toxin absorption. Charcoal absorbs excess moisture, filters out impurities, and prevents the stagnant, sour conditions that cause root rot in enclosed environments. Essential for closed terrariums where there's no drainage hole. Also a standard component of orchid potting mixes. Not the same as barbecue charcoal — this is clean, chemical-free horticultural grade. Available in Galion, OH.
