Durvet Feline Tape Tabs contains three scored tablets for removing common tapeworms in cats and kittens 6 weeks and older. Each tablet supplies 23 mg praziquantel and can be given directly by mouth or crumbled into food.
Product Details
- Contains 3 scored tablets, with 23 mg praziquantel per tablet.
- Treats the tapeworms Dipylidium caninum and Taenia taeniaeformis.
- For cats and kittens 6 weeks of age or older.
Directions & Storage
- Cats weighing 4 lb or less: ½ tablet. Cats weighing 5–11 lb: 1 tablet. Cats weighing over 11 lb: 1½ tablets.
- Give directly by mouth or crumble and mix with food. Fasting is neither needed nor recommended.
- Read and follow the package insert. Consult your veterinarian for help diagnosing, treating and controlling parasites.
- Control fleas and rodents to help prevent reinfection. Reinfection may require retreatment; the label does not specify a routine repeat interval.
- Store at or below 77°F (25°C).

- Do not give to kittens younger than 6 weeks.
- Consult a veterinarian before treating weak or debilitated animals.
- Salivation or diarrhea has occasionally been reported. Consult a veterinarian if these signs persist.
