Aquashade® 1 Gallon is an EPA-registered pond dye that controls underwater weed and algae growth by blocking the sunlight wavelengths plants need for photosynthesis. One gallon treats up to 1 acre of pond surface. The blue-and-yellow dye blend tints water an attractive blue-green while starving weeds of light below the surface. Safe for fish, livestock, swimming, and irrigation when used as directed. A non-chemical alternative to herbicides for pond weed management. Reapply as color fades, typically every 4-6 weeks depending on water flow. Available in Galion, OH.
