Safflower Seed - Cardinals love it, squirrels don’t. Safflower Seed is a great way to attract the birds you want - Cardinals, Chickadees, Titmice, Grosbeaks - and discourage the "feeder hogs", like Grackles and Starlings, that keep them away. And best of all, squirrels don’t like the bitter taste so they will stay away as well. If you have unwanted birds and squirrels crowding out your songbirds we recommend gradually filling your feeder with Safflower Seed for a period of time, then gradually mixing in your favorite Wild Bird Food.
